3. UGC NET Exam Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must read the following information about the UGC NET Exam 2023 Eligibility Criteria;

- To be qualified, candidates must hold a master’s degree from a recognised board or institution.

- Percentage: The applying applicant must have received at least 55% (50% as OBC/ SC/ ST/ PwD/ Third gender) without rounding off.

- Candidate must be under the age of 31 to be considered for JRF in UGC NET Exam. Candidates from the reserved categories will be allowed a 5-year age relaxation. There will be no upper age limit for Associate Professor positions.

- Students appearing in their final year in 2023 will also be able to apply for UGC NET Exam 2023.
4. UGC NET EXAM 2023 PATTERN
Candidates must check following points for UGC NET EXAM Pattern.

- Exam Mode: The UGC NET test will be administered online (through computer).

- Number of papers: The examination will consist of two papers.

- Languages: Applicants may take the test in either English or Hindi.

- Number of Questions: There will be 150 questions on the question paper.
